Kelda Oxgutter, Barbarian

Posted on May 31, 2016January 2, 2026 by Brianna

Kelda Oxgutter is the only survivor of a raiding party that came to loot Brinewall of its treasures. She remained convinced of her chances for success even after her shield-brothers died in a battle against a sea drake because she’d come across a partial and early plan for Brinewall castle that showed the location of a secret entrance. She hoped to use this entrance as a direct route to Brinewall’s treasury, but unfortunately for her, the entrance led instead to the lair of a dangerous creature dwelling in the caverns below the castle. She was quickly captured and turned over to the force inhabiting the castle and was imprisoned while they decide what to do with her. An ogre was her guard, which was quickly taken down by the Storm Peace Keepers.

Kelda was ashamed of having been captured and refused to talk with the group due to her shame. Darsus took the time to talk to her and offer her back her gear. When this offer was made, she softened and finally explained what had happened to her. The group offered to escort her back to their camp so she would not have to face the dangers of the castle alone. She showed them a map of how she came into the castle, in a secret tunnel that led out of the castle dungeon. She’s lost interest in Brinewall’s treasure, and wants only to leave.  When the group mentions their caravan, Kelda responds that if the Storm Peace Keepers will help her get home to the Lands of the Linnorm Kings, she’ll see that they’re properly rewarded for their help.<
