The session started with the group attempting to engage the Yeti that appeared to be on guard. The guard did not respond and growled at them. When more of the group moved closer to the cavern, the Yeti howled a call for help. Five more Yeti appeared at an opening in the northeast of the cave and another Yeti stepped out from the shadows of the ledge with the other Yeti. The group prepared for battle as the five Yeti moved towards them. With a rope of entanglement, the group managed to entangle one Yeti before getting surrounded. As the group dealt with the Yetis pouring into the cave, another Yeti stepped out of the wall. This Yeti appeared to move faster and quicker than the group. It moved to the throne and engaged with Danicia with blows of greater accuracy and strength. Danicia used invisibility to sneak up and give more damage in attacks.
Seoni was standing in the hall and heard a disturbance in the cave where they had left the wagons for safety. There were Yeti attacking the wagons so the group split up to do more damage. Darsus used his ability to take Sandru and one other to the wagons while the others fought the Yetis in the cavern with the throne. The Yetis climbed the walls and surrounded the group on all sides in the hallway so the group looked for ways to move up to a ledge to gain an advantage.
After several rounds, the group was making headway and keeping the caravan safe. The large Yeti was killed and the body dropped. However, a transparent, bluish spirit rose from the body and began attacking. It was the ghost of the being they had fought and killed at the Storm Tower. She is surrounded by a whirling blizzard and begins attacking the group, supporting the Yetis in their attacks. However, the group prevails and her spirit is destroyed, permanently. When her spirit is destroyed it is as if a compulsion has been released on the Yetis and they all retreat, including the Yetis attacking the cavern.
After the battle, the group cleans up the caverns and removes some of the descreation created by Katiyana, the servant of SIthhud and others who had been in the crypts. They also find the way out and spend time removing the rubble blocking the exit of the cavern. When they see outside, the storms are gone and it is a clear day. With the destruction of Katiyana, the threat of the morozko storms is ended for everyone at the crown of the world. The session ended here.
